Russell used to edit and publish several underground comics in the early to mid eighties; most notably 'Infinity' and 'The Alternative Headmasters Bulletrin'. I caught up with Russell in Tokyo where we talked about his involvement with the underground comics scene two and a half decades ago. You can read my interview with him by clicking here

UK indie publisher Adam Grose, who runs Clown Press, is working on a charity comic in aid of the Red Cross, to raise money for flood victims the world over.Although initially prompted by floods in the UK during the summer, floods in other parts of the world continue to cause misery four thousands of people, and Adam was moved to try and inspire the comics community to create a collection of one page strips and raise funds for flood relief. I've already contributed a strip written nb John Freeman of ROK comics. I am also in the process of gaining permission from CBS records for permission to use the lyrics for Bob Dylan's song 'Down In The Flood' for a comic strip. I may not have time to actually illustrate this but if anyone out there would like to have a go drop me a line
